HR outsourcing needs to be all comprehensive and often involves not just the basic human resource functions but an all inclusive approach to outsourcing with payroll maintenance, perks and benefits records, personnel record and administration, selection and recruitment, and last but not the least, education and training of the employees. This means that in due course of time the offshore outsourcing firm becomes an integral part of the organization and the synergies developed are then further strengthened throughout their partnership. In case of these large corporations IT outsourcers require a well-developed service delivery infrastructure and significant expertise in analyzing, providing, and managing HR processes. Apart from this the outsourcing provider also has to be well-versed in the many divisions, departments and third-party franchisees and vendors associated with the client company. Companies have realized that HR recruitment, selection, retention etc., is quite a cumbersome process involving high in-house time, costs and resources and is therefore best left to off-shored companies located far away in India to be taken care of! Huge organizations with multi-continent presence and having an ethnic mix of employees are finding it extremely convenient to outsource their HR function so that the work is streamlined and all cultural differences and sensibilities are catered to while saving the company millions of dollars in cost!
