WINTER GARDEN – Orange County deputies are on the lookout for two men after a pair of Advance Auto Parts stores were robbed within an hour of each other Saturday night.

Deputies said they received a call from an Advance Auto Parts in Winter Garden from a customer who went inside, saw it being robbed and ran.

The customer said two men, whose faces were covered, had small handguns and demanded money from the manager.

A few more customers tried to go into the store and also ran, causing the robbers to leave the store in a car.

Deputies said it may not have been the first robbery for the two men.

“According to the store owners, they network between each other, and apparently there has been four or five of them in the last two or three weeks,” said Capt. Tom Cockriel, watch commander with the Orange County Sheriff’s Office. “They were similar type robberies. We don’t have the information to compare them to see if maybe they were the same individuals who did the robberies [Friday night].”

A similar description was given for two men who robbed an Advance Auto Parts in Ocoee about an hour earlier.
